At FUMC Sachse, we celebrate God through singing, playing instruments and even dancing on occasion.  Everyone is welcome to join our music ministry at any time — no auditions needed!

ADULT CHOIRS

Chancel Choir

Led by our Director of Music and Worship, Vera Kleinhenz. Our Chancel Choir sings all genres of music from classical to 21^st century praise. The Chancel Choir sings primarily at the 10:45 service but may occasionally present their ministry at the 8:45 service. Their rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8:30pm (during Lent and Advent, rehearsals are from 7pm to 8pm.).

During the Lent and Advent seasons, the Cantata Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 8:15pm – 8:45pm.

All ages 16+ are invited to sing in the Chancel Choir.

Small ensembles and soloists are always welcome and encouraged.

Handbell Choirs

Our Handbell Choirs provide music during our 8:45am and 10:45am worship services. There are 3 opportunities to ring:

Sachse Ringers – beginner to intermediate handbell choir. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:15pm

Bell Gals – advanced handbell choir. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 6pm.

Solos and small ensembles – Scheduled as needed.

ADULT BAND
